The QUEST Consortium meeting in Torino!

After almost two years, the QUEST consortium finally could meet up again in-person! The QUEST consortium had a two-day meeting on 21 - 22 October 2021 at the Energy Center of the Politecnico di Torino

The pandemic situation has changed many things in how both organisations can work together in international partnerships, the increase in online activities has brought the cooperative solutions in the digital context to a new level. The same has been the case for the QUEST consortium, consisting of partners ranging from north to the south of European continent, where we've worked together in the past two years in an online environment and made much progress in our objective to create an effective toolbox to de-risk investments going into energy efficiency projects in buildings. As many benefits as the digital solutions can provide however, it was a breath of fresh air to be able to see each other in person again and inspiring to work together again in the same room on our common objective.

On Thursday 21 October the QUEST consortium had a full day meeting to discuss the different achievements by the project and the planned work for the coming months ahead. The technical outcomes of QUEST have been substantial, such as our QUEST Tool & our methodology for the data engine. Now in the final stages of the project the focus of the whole consortium is to share these our results even more with external stakeholders, both in the building industry and among the investments community.

In this manner the QUEST consortium participated in the second Italian national roundtable on Friday 22 October, which collected different Italian stakeholders who had a look at the QUEST toolbox and provided their feedback, as well as how they can apply it within their own research & business.
